The surfers-roots community is a big family, long years friendships, surf first timers, travellers till semipros all find togehter on fuerte. Our surf community is the meetingpoint from surfers all over the world. Important elements like: teaching, surf camps, customboards and shop lounge makes it possible to give you a perfect overview from the surfscene. Totally excited from our fuerte-lifestyle we see ourselfs obligated  to deliver you the surf passion.

Markus thienel, austrian, professional surf teacher & camp manager. His carrier started at the age of 7, when he found his passion in windsurfing and some years later in surfing waves. Many years, being a surfcoach on famous spots all over the world, like Puerto Escondido (Mexico), Sal (Caboverde), Fuerteventura (Spain), gave him the opportunity to make the most important certificates.

• National Beach Lifeguarde Qualification (Lifesavers, UK)
• Life Support 3 Certificate (Lifesavers, UK)
• British Surfing Association (BSA) licensed Instructor
