Gruppensurf Camps (14-16 jährige, 18-21 jährige)

We, the Surfers-Roots team, realise that the surfing boom is constantly increasing especially among teenagers: adrenaline, action and a lot of fun make surfing more and more popular. It is developing into a sporting cult.

Youth surf camps and group camps are very popular in Fuerteventura. You are offered old-school camping in a tent, surf hostels, common surfing houses and even top appartments. Wonderful untouched beaches, Europe’s best waves and a maximum fun factor in the water and onshore are waiting for you.

Surfing is a lot of fun - sharing it with your best friends or class mates promises you the extra kick. In our youth surf camps we focus on sports, fun, good music, getting to know new people and trying out new things, for example yoga. Naturally, a relaxed evening at sunset cannot be missed!

 

Possible evening programme:

From the well-known campfire / BBQ to shopping trips to Corralejo and long party nights: everything is possible! Especially in the summer months there are many youth groups in the centre of Corralejo which you will easily get to know. Whether you love music or like to chill in the camp with your book - with us you are all in good hands.  Apart from surfing you will also be able to try out other sports. Kite and windsurfing, sailing or scuba-diving etc. (fee required, not included in the youth camp)

The teenagers are supervised during the surfing courses and arranged events.

Food: Self-catering

Our camp is laid out for self-catering. The next supermarket is only approx. 2 minutes away and there are a number of good restaurants in close vicinity with different offers such as Canarian, French or Italian cuisine, as well as a Chinese restaurant, a tapas bar and many others. The centre of the holiday town Corralejo is only 10 minutes away on foot.

Surf Hostel (individual accommodation)

At the Surf Hostel you reside in multi-bed rooms; the kitchen, bathrooms (3) and the chill-out lounge are shared, too. The house is furnished to modern taste, there is a small pool. The Surf Hostel is located 5 minutes from the town centre on foot, first shopping possibility within 50 metres, 3 minutes to the first surf spots (Rocky Point / Punta Alena).

Surf House (8 - 12 persons)

If your group wishes to keep to itself, we recommend the Surf House.
At the Surf House you reside in multi-bed rooms; the kitchen, bathrooms (3) and the chill-out lounge are shared, too. The house is furnished to modern taste, there is a small pool.
Larger accommodation can also be rented for groups..

Appartments

The appartments are furnished to modern taste and located approx. 1 km from the town centre, in a quiet area. 700 metres from the first surf spots (Rocky Point / Punta Alena / Grandes Playas).

There are bars, restaurants and shopping facilities directly outside the appartment complex. You can choose between double rooms and your own appartment. There are two large swimming pools available

• From the apartment complex it is 10 minutes on foot to the town centre and the closest beaches.

Camping in tents (camping equipment is not provided)

Fuerteventura is the most suitable Canary Island for camping, since the best microclimate promises us permanent good weather. Keeping environmental protection in mind, camping excursions must be clarified with the authorities from case to case.
